I want to have sex with my boyfriend, but I am scared to get a pregnancy test. Does Violet provide them?

While the Violet Project has had free pregnancy tests in our store before, (violetproject.org/store), we unfortunately do not currently have pregnancy tests. We are working on getting more!

Whenever having sex, we recommend that you use protection! Condoms will help protect against pregnancy and STIs! You can also look into birth control methods to help prevent against pregnancy. Check out what works best for you at: https://www.violetproject.org/contraception.

You do not need a pregnancy test to have sex, and we recommend you test only after you miss your period. However, it may be reassuring to have one on hand, or if you want one in the future, you can purchase them at your local pharmacies or other stores! You can also order them online, and some local organizations may potentially be able to provide them for free.
