Can my partner and I both get treatment through the Violet Project if we tested positive?

If you test positive for an STI through the Violet Project, you will be contacted (by phone) by our licensed OB/GYN for a free medical consultation to discuss your results and treatment. During this call, she will ask you if you want treatment for your partner as well, regardless of if your partner has tested with Violet or not! This is called EPT, or Expedited Partner Therapy. This ensures that your partner can get treatment quickly, and at the same time as you! Treatment is either covered by your insurance, or Violet will cover your treatment.

If you test positive for an STI outside of Violet, we currently cannot provide medical consultation and treatment due to the structure of our program. Speak with your doctor about your positive STI results, and they can provide treatment!
